Testimonials from our customers

Neil Raphel ~ Raphel Marketing
I was one of the first customers of North Country Broadband and I remain a loyal customer today. The service has been exceptional and the quality first-rate. On those rare occasions when when there has been an issue with the service, North Country Broadband responded quickly and fixed the problem. Based on my experience, I highly recommend North Country Broadband.

Dial-up internet accesss is like putting all of your meals through a blender and having someone feed them to you with a tiny, little spoon. Broadband is sitting with the grownups at Thanksgiving.

The service from North Country Broadband has not just made things faster, it has made a qualitative difference in what we are able to do. These days, for example, it is crucial for a business to keep its systems updated with security patches and the latest versions of software. But with a dial up connection it was nearly impossible to keep up. Now we just start the download and it's as good as done. Sending or receiving a big e-mail attachment used to stop our whole workgroup in its tracks. No more.

Home users may be able to limp along on a dial-up connection, but I don't see how a business, large or small, can afford not to use broadband.   ~

Horace Palmer III ~ Taylor-Palmer Agency
Broadband access for our insurance agency staff has increased productivity by measures we can't yet measure. All our insurers are making more information available on their websites, and our use of the internet to access this information has speeded up service to our customers. We're still learning about our increased possibilities because of North Country Wireless's bringing broadband access to Bradford. We thank you and our clients thank you as well.

When I first started to analyze the potential of DSL from North Country Broadband I felt that it would be 50% convenience, 25% actual business use and 25% because I am into this sort of thing.
I now realize the percentages are 40% convenience and 60% actual business use.

The “always-on” connection is a real benefit.  I don’t have to tie up the fax line, disconnect when a call comes in or when asked a question by someone who stops in my office. With the DSL from North Country Broadband I simply pick up where I left off without giving it a second thought or, maybe even more significant, I don’t have to dial-up to the internet ever again and hear that hideous noise and wait, and wait and wait.

Anti-virus programs updates are current and automatic, all systems connected have the latest updates for every program and operating system, and even huge downloads of the latest versions are installed.  Who cares if Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 is a 96mb download?  Not sure if you want or need the latest RealPlayer or Windows Media Player? Have both!

Internet accessed by a dial-up connection prevented me from taking full advantage of what this revolution offers. ~
